Step Away From the Trolls Fight

Unfortunately trolls exist, and they just cannot resist, their fingers tapping away, to shoot down what people say!

It must feel a sad life, to go about causing strife

Last night I got some abuse

Someone decided to let their mouth loose

They commented on my page

And unleashed some of their rage

They’ve no idea who I am

Believe me, I’m not looking for fans

I’m just trying to do my bit

In a world that can at times feel shit

It triggered a feeling inside

Like I wanted to run and hide

Then I remembered, people project pain

Maybe they’ve got some unhealed shame?

Unfortunately trolls exist

And they just cannot resist

Their fingers tapping away

To shoot down what people say

But I won’t stop being me

I will continue to be free

My intention is only to serve

So what- you think I’ve got a nerve?

It’s not my business what you think

I let that shit go, in a blink

So keep spouting your hatred and spite

Because I won’t join your fight

I’ll just simply walk away

Keep speaking what I have to say

I’ll respond to you with compassion

I’ll make this my new fashion

I’ll not feed your trolling

I’ll not keep the comments rolling

I’ll focus my energy on what’s right

As you disappear from my sight

It must feel a sad life

To go about causing strife

Aiming to tear others down

Because inside you wear a frown

People who live with inner joy

Do not aim to destroy

The ones who use kindness as a rule
